I am officially old. Today I bought a Wii for my wife's latest get fit campaign. My 5 year old daughter beat me at Wii Ten Pin Bowling in her first ever game. I had to show her how to hold the controller, when to let the buttons go etc, yet she still bowled 4 strikes in a row.
Now I really have to convince myself that the Wii is in no way related to real sport, or I will never compete at anything physical again.
3 x 15 achilles both sides. Left side especially was pretty sore this arvo. Probably coz I was stoopid and joined in my basketball class this afternoon. Hard to stay out of when they need so much basic instruction.
...but must NOT do it again until there is significant improvement in my achilles.
Given my lack of success in regularly doing rehab of any sort, I am now recording it as training, rather than vaguely in comments. Step number 1 is to do my achilles rehab twice daily. If I get motivated I may add some glute / core stability stuff to the mix.

3 PM
run (school blob) 32:30 [1] 5.6 km (5:48 / km) shoes: Nike Equalon 2
Slow jog around a loop set out by one of my workmates for our school cross country runners. Spent much of the last km or two jogging backwards to see how far behind the students had fallen up the last hill.
Achilles (particularly left) sore enough to decide I am not going to run at all until the State Sprint Champs.
