run race (Golf Course 5km TT) 17:53 [5] 5.0 km (3:35 / km)
shoes: Nike Equalon 2

Not really looking forward to this. Have missed all but one speed session since last time trial, niggles with patella tendonitis (R) and plantar Fascia (L) as well as general soreness fom the stupid actions involved with golf and teaching athletics in the last week.
Felt surprisingly good running. Striding out well, but just missing that bit of power whenever i tried to pick it up a bit.
Better than expected.

run 25:00 [1] 4.5 km (5:33 / km)
shoes: Nike Equalon 2

Warm-up and Cool Down for aforementioned time trial. Lost a bit of run-through prep time as I was left holding the time-sheet and calling out everyone as they started. Only ogt a couple wrong :)

run (treadmill) 30:00 [3] 6.05 km (4:58 / km)
shoes: Nike Equalon 2

Night time run on the treadmill that my better half has hired to see if she will actually use it. I hope she does, coz we scratched it up a bit dragging it around the side of the house to get it inside...

A few things to note - it is too loud to hear screaming kids over if I wanted to use it while they are asleep and I am home looking after them, (also makes it useless for pre-dawn recovery runs while Penny is asleep as she hears it on the baby monitor in our room) my knee dislikes it as much as real running (apparently, or maybe it was the badminton PD. May have to try it out again to double-check that one... and you get really hot and sweaty so it would be quite unpleasant to use for much more than half an hour

So, basically, I don't think I'll be using it very much at all.

paddle (Garett Rd Bridge Loop) 1:30:25 [3]
shoes: Lavender Endorfinn

Regular loop. Tried to start at a solid pace and keep it steady the whole way. Pretty happy with how I was paddling. Using some of the right muscles and a bit more body twist these days. Sore backside from going out without the padding of a nice thick wetsuit.
Got lucky and fitted the whole paddle in without getting rained on.

cycle (commute) 1:01:30 [3] 29.0 km (2:07 / km)
shoes: Avanti Blade

Started raining and got windy about half way there, but eased off pretty quick once the front went thru. Left calf still a bit twitchy for the first half.

cycle (commute) 55:10 [4] 29.0 km (1:54 / km)
shoes: Avanti Blade

Ride home. Pushed pretty hard. Breeze was friendly most of the way.

Note

Did the pre-emptive pike last night and didn't set the alarm. Was so tired after beach sesion I decided it made more sense to sleep in than to get woken up by my alarm only to turn it off and try to get back to sleep.
