MTC 12 days of Christmas Warm up 12 x 50 choice, 11 x 25 kick with fins, 10 x 50 drill/swim, 9 x 25 breathe 4,4,3,3,22,1,1,0 8 x 50 pull, 7 x 25 (3 right arm, 3 left arm, 1 full with fins, 6 x 50 finger drills with fins, 5 x 25 pull shark fin, 4 x 50 free/back, 300 swim no walls, 2 x 50 full power, 100 easy cool down

Got all messed up with the routine. Slow warm, working on technique put me behind the pack. Got messed up and was doing the 9's instead of 10. Missed the 0 breathe but got the others. Switched to 10 while the lane was doing 9 and caught the line during pulls. Not sure if my technique was any good but I did not get tired. Never got to check the clock to see if effort equaled speed. Spent some time in draft mode.

Easy run indoors. increased 0.2 to 0.5 mph until 2 miles and decreased for cool down 1 mph per minute. Right knee was the usual slow to warm up but okay at speed.

MTC swim. Warm up - 450 mixed Main Set 4 x150 kick/drill/swim, 4 x 200 pull easy, 4 x 150 free/back/free, 4 x 200 descending. 4 x 25 IM Cool down - 50 back/breast.
Easy warm up. Starting to find full body alignment and reduced head movement. Tried to reduce stroke count on the pull with bilateral breathing. Hit 16 strokes per length but tended to breath only twice per length. tried to increase frequency. Descending 200's went well, 4:10, 4:00, 3:55 and 3:42. Starting to get core and body aligned but still a long way to go. Speed is back to previous fish tail style level though.

Aerobase workout. Legs felt okay with the rest recently. Left knee adhesion seemed to be in the wrong place as that knee was stiff.
