Cold day for a run and my right leg was still tight after the Resolution Run. Wore a sleeve and the leg felt okay after 2 km. Shoes are getting near the end of their life but have gone 40 miles further than the last pair. Burn - 650 kcal.

Note

Decided to participate in the FMCT 100 day Challenge. Likely, too much running for me but we will see. Maybe it will inspire me to do more slow runs of 30 to 60 minutes.

2009 Summary:

Major shift to triathlon training as I did an Ironman in 2009. Cycling and running distance were getting near doubled. Swimming was much the same but O racing dropped by 30%. Training time was also higher at 570 hours versus 490 in 2008 though 2007 was 510 hours. As next year the focus shifts again, training will also change.

Warm up - 300m mixed swim, 200m pull, 2 x 50m kick with fins 25 m build, 50 build/cruise, 75 build/cruise/build, 100 build/cruise/build/cruise, 100m free/back/ free/breast, 75m free/back/free, 50 free/back, 25 free. Main set - 10 x 50 m on 3:00 pace head to head full speed. Cool Down - 100 float, 300m swim with fins, 300m swim easy.

MTC Swim with Coach JJ. Warm up 8 x 50 free/breast, 8 x 100m , drill, swim, sike kick, swim. Main set - 4 x 500, first 400 pull, 100 swim, second 300 pull, 200 swim .... Cool down - 300m swim with fins.
