shoes: Mizuno Wave Creation 10 #2

Light rain and leaves on the trials. Easy run up to Dundas and Back on the Morrison Creek Trail. Right knee was still sore from hoping in core class.

The Vampire-O hosted by TOC. Fun as always. I started as a vampire and took a while to find a victim. With the moonlight night and my flying pig costume, kids could see me and would run back to the safety of a control. Played with about 5 kids this way for a while before turning on my light and catching a victim but casually circulating. Got the Witch pumpkin control so was guaranteed a high prize so just crept through the woods after words in relative safety. Great event as always!!

MTC Swim with Coach Stewart. Had problems with my head position slowing me down. Speed was so so.

MTC core class with Coach Dalia. Twice through stations around the room. Most went well except the right leg hop. Little stability in my right knee!

MTC Swim with Coach JJ. Main routine of 3 sets of 4 x 50m, speed varied from 0:48 for 1st to0:50 for 2nd and 3rd sets. Was swimming 500m in 10:20 to 10:40. Arms were tired at one point but fine by end. Tried to work on head position to reduce hip wiggle.

Usual weight and core routine. I am getting stronger in knee dips, rotator cuffs and weights but some core routines like side plank are not great. Stretch after.

Technique drills starting with vertical kicks and trying to add arms and keeping head in correct position.

First MTC cycling session of the Fall. Felt okay on bike got tired near the end. Burn - 940 kcal.

Peak 2 Peak. Run at low pace between controls. Navigation was okay and it was a nice day to be in the woods.
