Note

Went to Toronto bike show for the first time in years. Not worth it unless you want to purchase a bike at the end of season prices. Picked up a bike stand from a local store later.

Trek or Treat Halloween run. Decided to run at race pace and had a good run. Lots of major up and down hills on this course. Almost blew calves on the last downhill. 2nd in age group though few 10kers in this race. Costume below.

So so hockey game. Skates felt slow and took them in for sharpening after. Not much hollow on the blades.

See MTC blog for swim with Coach JJ. Tried to work on roll but not sure how effective I was.

Warm for weights. Random 8 with speed increase to 6.5 mph. Felt good. Knees okay.

Did my home routine with machines in between for legs. Exhaustion sets starting at low and going up one notch after 10 repeats. Right knee gave out after 60 reps with 8 lb.

Ontario Long Course Championships. Started out well though i has slow to CP 2. Major miss going to 5, ended up near 9 and used it to find the control. Okay to the other controls though took the trail to 10 which was a bit slow. Overshot 11 but no problem on return. Won my age group though the other guy mped. Poor navigation in quite a few sections but nice course.
