ahr:187 max:123 weight:149lbs shoes: Vasque Velocity

Three loops of the Arrowhead Ridge Trail in Oakville. Felt a bit rough after baseball. Right knee a bit stiff, left kidney and middle back. Right knee was stiff by the end but the rest was durable. Should have wore a knee support for baseball. Burn - 1450 kcal

shoes: Specialized Comp Mountain Pro

Easy cycle to check out mountain bike after repair following Storm the Trent. Legs were a bit tired but just checked out new trails.

Right rib is still tender and I can fell it pulling. 100m times 1:50 to 1:54. Working on my roll and arm position on passing body. If I get those working right, may be drop times 0:05.

First game of the season. Arm felt strong but no zip on the ball. Swung the bat bad but we won!

Orienteering (AAA Nite) 57:00 [2] **** 3.0 km (19:00 / km)
spiked:8/11c shoes: Adidas ADZ16

AAA nite at Rockcliffe Park. First navigation trick was finding the start point. The web map arrow was on Mills Street north on Hwy 5. But there was a clue suggesting the start was at a new location near the Hwy 6 Rona. 30 minutes to find the start. No problem on most controls though usually I get lost on this map. A train came by after I crossed the tracks to CP5 but I was slow enough so that it had passed before my return to CP6. CP 6 was in a nasty dark green temporary stream bed. Poor route choice to CP8 as I took the higher trail and could not see the control below the rocks and it made approach difficult.

Legs felt fast and navigation seemed precise though I should have moved faster.

Good skate. Thought my legs would be tired but they were okay. We won the game also.

Cycling (Tri Bike Roads) 2:53:00 [3] 72.0 km (2:24 / km) +460m 2:20 / km
ahr:124 max:153 slept:9.0 shoes: Carnac TRS7

Started from 401 and Trafalgar, going east and up 8th line to 15th Sideroad. West to Moffat and back. Motorbikes all over this route doing the B.A.D. Speed felt good. Going out, pedaled in cycle mode about 90 rpm. Coming back went more to power mode, 60 rpm and lower gear. Ate 4 bars and drank 2 eLoad bottles. Need to start going to gels instead of solid food. Legs started to heavy going home. Butte, neck and back started to get tigt after 2 hours but felt okay after changing positions more. Stayed upright most of the time and need to go to aero position to save arms more. Aero position was tough with glasses as I was looking over the top of them. Burn - 1450 kcal.
