Cycling (Wind Trainer) 12:00 [2] 5.9 km (2:02 / km)
slept:10.0 weight:148lbs shoes: Carnac TRS7

Felt a bit sick with a touch of the flu and spent a lot of time in bed. I had to try out the new triathlon bike though. Felt surprisingly good. New seat seemed fine. Aero position felt good.

Swimming 1:35:00 [3] 4.1 km (23:10 / km)
slept:6.5

MTC Swim with Coach Stephanie. Warm up 10 x50 (25m free/25m back, 25m pull, 25m head scull) 500m locomotive. Main set 3 x (10 x100m descending 2:20, 2;15,2;10)) Cooldown 25m fly, 25m back, 25m fly, 25m breast.

A little ragged in the pool but good to be back. Could feel my roll was not good. First 100m set on 1;50 to 1:55, 2nd set on 1:55 to 2:00, 3rd set 2:00 to 2:05. Should be faster if roll and head position was better.

Hockey 25:00 [3]
shoes: Koho 3360

Good game but lost 7 - 6. Excellent skate!

Running 45:00 [2] 5.2 km (8:39 / km)
slept:6.0 shoes: Asics Nimbus VI

Light run around the block in heavy snow. Left ankle was not too good but was just warming up when I stopped due to time. Knees felt okay butdefinitely need to be kept warm.

Note

In OKC with work. Left ankle was a bit weak after yesterday but legs felt good after cool water bath. Sitting in planes was not the most fun though.

Running race 2:04:00 [5] 21.1 km (5:53 / km)
ahr:147 max:168 shoes: Asics Nimbus VI

Chilly Half Maraton in Burlington. Sunny day and little wind but the temperature was about -3C ar start. Wore a bit much gear with knees and left ankle support. Started out fast but slowed as outer quads were not up to par. Decide to take it easy to Burloak and take it from there. Not the greatest by the Lakeshore and shut it down a bit. In conservation mode just ticked off the kms, finishing over 2:04:00. Below 2:15 prediction but not up to speed. Three weeks off in January with back pain did not help. But finished surprisingly well for the lack of training.
