On Thursday night I was sick and then, maybe unrelated, I woke up feeling better on Friday but with a really sore mid-back. Sitting and typing at work all day was horrible and I probably should have gone home, but its a new job so I just stood up and walked around every 10 minutes.... Friday night I did lots of stetches, and took some drugs and slept ok so ran yesterday. It was ok on the flat but ducking and weaving was a bit awkward and very uncomfortable once the muscles cool downed afterwards. Didn't sleep well because I was so uncomfortable so decided not to run today. Ben wasn't ever planning to run so we just drove home via a coffee shop.

Really fun course! Back a bit sore so not running well through the rough stuff but still can't navigate that fast so probably a good thing. A few problems on 16 where I stopped to early.

Planned to do 300s but when I got to UC ovals people were using my 300s track and I am tired plus cough has come back so that was enough excuses for me to just do a mona fartlek and call it a day.

Had to leave at 7pm because Ben needed the car but some things never change and bilbies still do so much faffing around so didnt start ints til 6.40 so not much time for actual running. Grass was long and bumpy but good to be back.
