With such a hectic week and the usual splits printer drama striking us as well i forgot to throw my race food into the back pocket of my jersey. The rest is history. I started seeing trees running past me by control 16 and the wheels definitely fell off when i couldn't even keep the front wheel straight riding at 10km on one of the smoothest gravel roads around.

Pulled the pin as i knew i still had to put controls out after the long event. Got back to the car and laid down against my rear tyre with my food. Woke up when Ali came looking for me and continued eating the biscuit i had in my hand from before i fell asleep.
