Road Cycling (Toom's Loop) 3:13:00 [4] 94.0 km (2:03 / km)
shoes: Giant TCR Advanced

Rode to meet Toom's at Mt Henry Bridge for the traditional loop around the river. First kind of hills effort with the wrist and it held up really well. Minimal traffic but plenty of cyclists riding singular or in small groups mostly.

Popped into Jen's Parents place to say hi to the crew but half of them had disappeared. Merry Xmas and Happy new year Jen and Edmund.

Struggleville on the way back with the legs starting to fade around Leach Hwy. Definately getting hot again by Thornlie.

MTB (Kalamunda Circuit) 1:31:00 [3] 21.0 km (4:20 / km)
shoes: 2011 S-Works FSR Epic

Nice gentle ride around the circuit. avoided most of the major obstacles but still managed to nut myself somewhere in rocky Balboa. Did 2 laps of the pump track and also tried out the new skills track at Camel Farm.

Was the first car at camel farm this morning and when i left the carpark was half full.
7 PM

running (Champion lake) 25:00 [4] 5.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Asics Kayano 18

Went to the gym last night only to find they had no power and were evacuating patrons from the venue. We decided to run around Champions as the sun was setting so the temperature would be dropping slightly. Ran the first 1.5km easy with the old man then upped the paced and pushed hard for the rest of the loop.

No watch with me to know exactly what the time was.

Road Cycling (Long Ride) 2:34:00 [4] 80.0 km (1:56 / km)
ahr:157 max:177 shoes: Giant TCR Advanced

Rode down tonkin hwy, thomas rd, freeway to deepwater point and then back to mt henry, leach hwy, rosmoyne, collins rd, roe hwy spencer rd and then a lap or two of the block to tick over 80km.

Quite windy this morning but surprisingly little traffic which made the ride enjoyable. A few cyclists on the freeway path this morning. Wrist started to ache around the 65km mark as well as the back.

Big stretch session when i got home to keep every loose as possible.

Road Cycling (Perth loop + Success) 2:13:00 [4] 66.5 km (2:00 / km)
ahr:157 max:176 shoes: Giant TCR Advanced

First ride without arm brace. Wrist felt ok for about 40km then the palm stasrted to hurt. I suspect it has gone soft from not being used for so long.
