Running 40:01 [3] 4.01 mi (9:59 / mi) +341ft 9:14 / mi

Durand Eastman, roads. 34 degrees, 23 degree wind chill, snowing. So fine! At least the roads in Durand have reasonably decent shelter from the winds, except in a couple of areas. Another "benefit" are a number of nice hills. I took a few walking breaks.

Webster Park sol-O long advanced course. Very challenging, but I can't say very enjoyable. Lots of mud and thick vegetation. Along with many new/unmapped rootstocks. The map is certainly due again for an update.

Run/walk ("Long") 53:15 [3] 5.26 mi (10:07 / mi) +100ft 9:57 / mi
shoes: Hoka Clifton 4

This is "long" only by my current rather lame standards. It was the longest I've run in a while, and it included many walking breaks (5 min run / 1 min walk). Once again, the Garmin totally messed up the elevation gain. It said I had 277 feet of climb. I'm estimating it was actually around 100 feet.

Run/walk 40:05 [3] 4.03 mi (9:57 / mi) +55ft 9:49 / mi
shoes: Hoka Clifton 4

Rt. 104 path (mainly), with trailsnail. Around 60, overcast, windy. In other words, very nice weather compared to what we've been having lately.

The elevation on my GPS for some reason goes haywire occasionally, not all the time, when I go from running to walking. Check out the trace for today's run. Around the 3.5 mile mark, it showed me going from 386 ft to 213 ft (which is below Lake Ontario level). It showed a total elevation gain of 235 feet. I corrected that to 55 feet which is a more reasonable estimate.

Running 34:50 [3] 3.47 mi (10:02 / mi) +167ft 9:36 / mi
shoes: NB 410 v5

Mostly-trail run on Crescent Trail, from Lyndon Ave at the canal. I had a plan which was derailed due to an exceptionally muddy section of the trail, so I backtracked and bailed out to a road. I headed back to the starting point, crossed the canal, and ran a while on another section of the Crescent Trail I hadn't been on. There were a few muddy spots but not too bad. Warm (low 60's) and windy.

Running 39:33 [3] 4.0 mi (9:53 / mi) +73ft 9:43 / mi
shoes: Hoka M Clifton 5

Canal path, from Winton Rd, with trailsnail. Nice afternoon, which resulted in a lot of people on the path -- walkers, bikers, runners. Most but not all kept a respectful distance. Took a few 1-minute walking breaks.

Run/walk 45:07 [3] 4.64 mi (9:43 / mi) +81ft 9:34 / mi
shoes: Hoka Clifton 4

Urban run. Accidentally stopped my watch around Alexander on the way back, didn't discover it until Goodman. Estimated the time and distance lost.
