Pretty lame walk/run from the B&B we stayed in on the south shore of Lake Pleasant (NY; Adirondacks). Felt really bad at first, partly because I'm not used to running early in the morning, and partly because I have this nagging cough that's been going on for about a week (not many other cold symptoms fortunately). But after about a mile, I began to feel a bit better. Still, it was a short, slow slog.

Hiking on the trail to Snowy Mt near Speculator. It's about the highest mt in that part of the Adirondacks at 3800 feet. We had absolutely no intentions of making it to the top or even half way up, we just wanted to check out the trail and have a bit of a hike, so our goal was to go 0.5 miles and turn around (would have been 3.2 miles and about 2000 feet of climb to get to the summit).

Again, no serious hike, we just came across a trailhead for the Northville-Lake Placid trail, and for the heck of it walked a bit on it.

And once again, nothing serious, just strolling down to Buttermilk Falls from the road, and walking around a bit to have various vantage points.
