US Sprint Champs at Boise State. One 10 sec error and the rest perfect. Slowed down towards the end as my eyes were becoming blurry from fatigue. Ran all the way. Very happy with this result.

Mt Pinos Day 2 Brown. Ran a pretty cl race uo to control 8 the penultimate control. Then I did not see the spur further down the hill and lost about 3 minutes figuring ig out. Quite sure the rock feature and control was mipmapped, but no one else complained. Coming into the last control took a fall on the trail and banged my knee. Hurts a lot from the abrasion but doesn’t seem enough to keep me from running this weekend.

Day 1 Mt Pinos Brown Course. Some good altitude training for Idaho. Made about 4 minutes of error. Three minutes of it were on control 5, where I neglected to follow the S. bearing to the road, instead went SE and missed the road. From there I was confused and took me a minute or so to figure out my dumb mistake. Lesson learned: When you need to go directly S to a road. Follow the compass! Absolutely felt stronger as I proceeded through the course, so the training is working.
