US Middle Champs. A few bobbles but otherwise an excellent walk. No running until the final run in. Nice to end the weekend on an up note. Was enjoyable to be part of the BAOC team that did so well. Great team spirit.
OCIN did a terrific job! Excellent terrain and courses. Outstanding organization.

US Long Champs at Carter Caves. KY. Probably the coldest start temperature i have ever experienced 26 degrees. Wore 4 layers. Course had trail options on most controls, many of which were the best option. So not very good for a walker like me, as the competitors blaze swiftly by.

This didn't stop me from making a few errors. The worst a 2 minute+ one on the penultimate control which was deeply hidden in a pit. Today walked about 80 percent of the course. Beat a few people, which is my only competitive goal.

US Sprint Champs at Morehead State Univ in Kentucky. Happy with my day. Made two 1 min errors and several smaller ones. But I jogged about 60 percent of the course. More Later
