Walked the Tilden Park Brown Course. I had injured my hamstring doing sprints on Friday so I took it slow and steady. It was quite steep as always. Several steep places looked dangerous for me so I took time to be careful. Made a stupid move of going to control 7 before control 6. Lost about 7 minutes. Hobbled home, sore and tired but happy I had the mental and physical toughness to complete the course. (Forgot my Garmin so no GPS track.)
How wonderful to see the younger generation now enthusiastically participating in the club!

Short walk to Lower Yosemite Falls. On the drive home we visited Camp Mather. Sarah had asked us to check it out as a possible weddeing site. The camp was OK, but the area around for miles was burned. Really heartbreaking to see that much wonderful forest gone.

From Happy Isles hiked up above Vernal Falls to Clark Point with a view of Nevada Falls. Water levels are low so the falls look like October levels, despite recent rains.
