Training Log Archive: barb

I had a school program at 9:15, and radiation at 7:15. I drove to the school (coincidentally, Isabel & David's old school), parked, walked a mile to the hospital, got treated, walked back to the car, unloaded the teaching kit into the school gym, walked half a mile over to Liz's house for toast, looked out her back window, saw a park, saw a cone, saw that it was *our* cones, realized Ethan must be setting up for his program (happening at overlapping time, at different school), ran out to say hi, walked back to school, delivered two classes.

This was a Sunday. I was on the Cape. Walked around in Nickerson with Dave in the morning. Thought some more about how to map the vegetation.

Walked with Bill, Dave, Isabel, Jared, David, maybe Diego. Went around Baker's Pond, past the house where Bill's dogs were born.

Walked to the hospital for my first radiation treatment.
Got a ride home from my friend Liz who knows better than I do, that having a friend around can be helpful.
