WMSOC Long distance. This was up in a high valley a little bit outside of town, so there was more snow and fewer big trails. It was super fun and scrappy, and would have been even more fun if they had done half a good job at grooming the narrow trails.

Made one super stupid route choice going up and over a big hill on steep narrow trails, when I could have gone around on gentle downhill big trails. Lost a couple minutes there.

WMSOC Sprint. Started on a wicked steep hillside, climbed up a bit more after the start, then dropped down some crazy trails for a few controls. Then a mix of flat narrow stuff and big stuff, with a pretty good chute-of-doom down a stream canyon in the middle. Lots of hesitations, but mostly for self preservation and not navigation, so that was ok. Pretty fun. Ended up 5th out of a few more than that.

World Masters model event in Austria. Some of the trails were good, some were super scrappy. We're hopefully assuming the model area is just its normal level of junk compared to the real terrain, so it'll be better tomorrow.

Watched a bunch of biathlon today too. Lots of people we know from ASC here (it's also the Winter World Masters Games), so it's pretty much just Truckee with more schnitzel.
