Going to the grocery store, but this was basically on the way. Good enough coverage, but warm with no base so everything was mush. Should be better tomorrow after it clears up and gets chilly.

Half day at work, so I went out for a ride during afternoon nap time. Windy but still nice out, the storm hadn't gotten to us yet. Raining across much of northern CA, which is a good thing these days.

I've been out most mornings for the last two weeks cutting firewood rounds from a patch of forest that the town thinned. They do all the tree-knocking-overing and slash cleanup, and then leave neatly stacked piles of 10ft trunk sections to be scavenged by the townsfolk. Some are easy 12" logs, some are beastly 30" logs. So it mostly consists of deadlifting trees out of the piles then chainsawing then lifting then sawing etc, also lots of lifting to get them in and out of the car. So enough of a workout to be tired after two hours each morning. Have a respectable pile of rounds at home now, and only maxed out the suspension on the subaru two or three of the days.
