Prison Hill 10k, down in Carson City. A fairly last minute rally to go get some low altitude dirt. Super nice day, 25 when I left, 75 at lunch, and race time was somewhere in between. The course goes lotsa up a canyon for the first mile and a half, then a loops around the top, then back down. The down is different than the up though, and the bottom half is a steep sandy ridge line, so it was like running down a beach dune for 500' of vertical, which was awesome. Felt good running, passed a bunch of people on the climb, and felt fine all the way around the top.

Cold and snowy today, but that meant less melting, so this was the driest run in a while. Don't think I was in above the ankles once.
