shoes: v2 aeros #3 wood cores baby!

Now that it’s winter (and there is lots of new snow up on the ridges from this week), it’s time for skiing. Went across the dam in Boca, which was nice because there were no cars (dam is closed), but crappy because the pavement is crappy.

run 37:13 [3] 4.05 mi (9:11 / mi) +4m 9:10 / mi

Same thing as last time, but the other way around the bay, because new and exciting.

road bike 12:49 [3] 1.71 mi (8.0 mph) +6m

Got a bike share bike for $3 to ride home from Amy's. As bikes go, the geometry was all whacked up in the fork angle (stupid normal size people), it weighed a ton, and the rotating handlebar cvt shifter collar was backwards from what I'd naturally expect. 4/10 wouldn't joyride. As 10pm rides across the city go, it had round wheels and sweet blinky leds and I didn't get shot walking into my hotel. 8/10 would pay $3 for again.

In SF this week. Hotel is much more ghetto than last time, but a couple blocks away is nicer for running, so that's cool.

Long run on the TRT from Martis peak clockwise to Relay peak and back. A pretty awesome section of trail, some climb for the first three miles, then [relatively] flat for the next five, and a climb at the end up Relay. The whole flat section in the middle is just below the ridgeline and looks south over the lake. Lots of snow patches on the north side of the ridge. Pretty great views for almost the whole run, I'd say cooler than Flume trail. pics.
