Birkie. Haven't really done a lot (1) of long skis this year, so this went about as expected. Felt ok for the first half, then I was legit tired for the second half. Not the usual broken tired, just out of shape burning tired. Snow wasn't actually that bad after the first couple km of chaos. Dirty and slow in a lot of the places in the woods, but it was 40 out so it was about as good as it could be. Though there was two inches of water on the lake. Found Ari at the finish, had a bridge beer waiting for dad, and called it a day.

In WI for the birkie. 40 degrees and just finished raining, but it was warm and breezy and actually nice out. Went for a ski on the snowmobile trails right from the hotel. The grooming* was pretty good**, and it was dead flat, so it made for a good lazy ski.
