Slow run around TD. The bruised knee from last week still doesn't feel great. But at least the bad knee felt ok.

Setting controls up on Fiberboard. A bit of wandering around, the map is not the best up there, and more logging hasn't helped that. But I convinced myself that I got everything in the right spot.

Running the course, backwards. Did much better this time, and the map seemed a whole lot more correct, so maybe I was just spacing out repeatedly the first time.

Preran the blue middle, so at least it was nice and cool out. My knee started hurting again on the way to the start, so I really never ran hard at all on the entire course. Today's course was even more blah than yesterday, the first part was super steep uphill stuff, I assume it was trying to be technical, but when you're going so slow because its straight uphill or thick green sidehills the navigation part is trivial. The second part of the course was in much nicer woods and seemed like it would have been fun to run fast through, but my knee hurt by then and I was grumpy from the first part, so there was no saving it.

Ride with Carol around the north loop of singletrack at boggs. Very nice on the way out, smooth trails that were rolling downhill. Then we got onto a more rocky technical trail on the way back that was a whole lot more work. Definitely seems like a fun place to ride more when we have more energy.
