Track workout with the Truckee Running Club, which tonight was one other person. Things of note: turns out the Truckee HS track is actually round, not square as I previously believed (the fences and snow lines make it looks squarish from drivebys on the road). It is however, dirt, and only about three unmarked lanes wide. The large puddle on the first corner had a resident goose, but he was more scared of us than territorial, and so flapped/swam out of the way every time we came by. Also apparently in the winter they just groom over top of the track and have HS nordic ski races around it.

Middle champs. First half was actually pretty good, then I started getting tired and sloppy and forget I wasn't going to read any of the vegetation today, and did two controls in a row using green, which didn't work. The open rocky bits of the map were fun though.
