Run with Boris and Patrick along the ridgeline above the lake in Aix, which had a cool knobby tooth on it that we ran/hiked up first, then went out on along the ridgeline and back on a pretty good fireroad. I bonked pretty hard right about at the turnaround, I don't think I rehydrated at all after yesterday. Too busy getting angry at french people. We're in hotel #2 now though, so things are much improved.

Frenchie training on Prepoulain. Wandered around for a while looking for controls. It seemed to me to be just a badly mapped section of crappy new england woods, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

on the way back to orienteering land we tried to stop at the goffre de padriac, but it was filled with a bajillion french people. so we looked from the top and bailed.
