got a lovely 6" of snow last night. went for a run up on the fire road around glacier ridge. the shady side of the mountain was drifted about a foot deep, which ended up pretty cold given the shorts and ankle socks, but the sunny side of the mountain was down to a couple inches and a lot of puddles, so I doubled back across that section twice.
Running part of an old ski-o course at TD. somewhat difficult because its mapped for winter, so it assumes:
a. things smaller than 10' are buried, which includes just about all vegetation.
b. the ski trails are there.
So quite a few dead ends in huge patches of head high brush, and lots of guessing to figure out where the trails would be when they go on top of said head high brush. Did find most of the controls though.

Pacheco Pass day 2
More of the same. Lots of hills, lots of side hills. Felt pretty beat up after yesterday, and the feet were trashed, but I didn't seem to be running much slower because of it.
