Yesterday was road bike day, and so today was broken-axle mountain bike day. The plan was to fix the back wheel and clean the gunk off everything else. Man, Eddie, if you guys thought the road bike was bad before raam, this one sits inside the parking garage at work and collects smog all day long. Check

Performance had nothing for the busted axle, so I hit another bike shop and found a complete non-quick-release bolt-on back wheel for $30. Mounted everything and got it back on before it occurred to me that I should check if the old freewheel was ok or if that had been busted too. And yep, I'd managed to
bend that too. Its a little hard to see with my wobbly camera hand (I was covered in grease), but the freewheel itself is rotating off axis. So tomorrow I gotta find another one of those...
