Dad and I tried to drive home to VT last night, but the timing belt in the minivan broke, so now we're stuck in a motel in Jersey somewhere...

sleep. no really. thats all I did.

So RAAM was a really fun race. Much thanks to all of our wonderful crew for force feeding us calories and putting up with us during the long cold grumpy nights. Also thanks for everyone that came out to visit us along the way. We may not have seemed very appreciative in our exhasted state, but seeing familiar faces in random parts of the country meant a lot.

West Virginia. The big climbs didn't seem too bad, since the grades were ok and it was 10000 feet lower than CO. Maybe the last week of training is paying off. Can't wait for the race to start...
