did the normal loop down to the beach and up to sunset, then went up mandivalle canyon to the end. finally found a road without traffic. its a dead end, but its about 5 miles long, all uphill, and the pavement is pretty nice. coming down is a trip, you can hold 30 the whole time without trying too hard.
