Anza Borrego Day 1 Blue
Messed up #1 by a couple minutes because I had no idea what to expect from the map, so I wasn't reading it carefully enough. A few smaller mistakes later, probably 10 minutes total.

This actually went better than the daytime, because I knew the terrain type a little better and I was probably concentrating more. Trouble on one for maybe 8 minutes because it was the only control on the course without reflective tape on it, and since the controls are the color of the dirt at night, that makes it tough to find, especially when you're expecting it to reflect at you.

so I can understand how the rain is leaking in through the bedroom window, since its exposed and faces the windy side of the world. but how does water get in the living room window, considering its protected under the 6ft overhang of the balcony above me?

on a related note, there are some dodgy rumors that certain places up high in the sierras have gotten 19 feet of snow since christmas. not sure if this is true, but I've seen it in serveral different [unreliable] places. hello skiing in august.

Tamarack 15k skate - canceled cause there is too much snow.
LAOC local meet - canceled cause there are too many mudslides.
Any attempt to go skiing or hiking or running or generally leave LA this weekend - canceled cause ALL the highways are closed.
this place sucks.
