Orienteering 45:04 [3] 3.0 km (15:01 / km)

Spent quite a bit of time in spots helping out Stephen. This was a real tough course for him to do without a shadow, so I helped him along in places. Sacrificing my own run for my child... :-). Not that I could have done much better anyway...

Orienteering 2:20:37 [3] 5.88 km (23:55 / km)

Disastrous beginning. Feet felt much better, but throat felt much worse. Should have taken the Advil earlier. Once the medicine clicked in and I started to feel better, I actually figured out where I was and ran the rest of the course half-way decently. Better get well before next weekend, or it will be another miserable outing.

Orienteering 2:08:08 [3] 5.49 km (23:20 / km)

Fell apart at the end when feet really started hurting. Not a good outing, obviously, but at least I could read the map (not navigate, but at least see it).

Note

Removed four ticks after race, one moving freely while the other three were starting to embed. This is quite the season for ticks so far this year.

walk/jog on trail 50:04 [3] 3.0 mi (16:41 / mi)

At Nagog Hill Conservation Area, Acton. Wasn't overly motivated, but it was nice to get out on a nice day. One loop around, then did the cutoff in the middle, which unfortunately meant I missed the nicest part of the loop, the golf course and Nagog Pond views.

Orienteering 35:08 [3]

Sprinting really isn't my sport since I really like mapreading a lot more than running, but... It was an ok outing to at least have a chance to move around with a map in my hands, even if it was raining the whole time.

Crunches 48 [3]

Reverse Crunch 24 [3]

Push-Ups 16 [3]

Reverse Push-ups 16 [3]

Note

Pulled the first tick of the season off of my left shoulder this morning.
