Level 8 hills. Brought it up by .1 mph per 30 secs. at 25.

Weight training 5:00 [2]

Crunches and push-ups. Haven't done much of this stuff in a while and it showed.

Level 10 hills. Last 10 minutes faster.

As I was running, it started to smell like a (pre smoking ban) bar. I was wondering what was going on. I started smelling my towel, my shirt, etc., thinking I was the source of it for some bizarre reason. And then I realized it was emanating from the pseudo-biker chick next to me. I started to get nuts.

I am quite laissez-faire about smoking. If someone wants to smoke in a bar, elsewhere, etc., I don't really care. It won't even affect my behavior. But, if I smell it when I am working out, it incenses me. Cell phones while "exercising" is one thing (very bad); reeking of smoke is another (grounds for pummelling.)

Level 8 hill son the way out and level 9 on the way back. Progressively faster last 10 minutes.

Legs felt very nice today.

Run with Dasha until the 2nd bridge and then alone up and across the third. Paved paths were somewhat treacherous in some areas, despite the warmish temperatures. Ran in deep snow for part of the run--very nice.

Unfortuantely, had rapid onset GI distress at around 40 and walked it in.
