Run warm up/down 10:00 [1] 1.2 mi (8:20 / mi)

"Warmup." I was still pretty cold.

Orienteering 41:20 [4] **** 6.7 km (6:10 / km) +155m 5:32 / km

Sandy's FCE training.

Ran well, or at least efficiently. I wasn't technically perfect, but I kept moving and had good flow.

Often off to the left or right coming into controls, but would figure things out before too long.

Rna with Karl to bridge. The trail was very icey/snowy which made for occasionally tricky going and a slower time.

Run 10:00 [2] 1.2 mi (8:20 / mi)
shoes: New VJ Spikes

warmup with Vadim.

Orienteering race 30:51 [4] **** 4.7 km (6:34 / km) +110m 5:53 / km
shoes: New VJ Spikes

President's Cup. A score O, but with only a few variations on optimal routes. One large macro loop was pretty obvious.

A decent race technically, but very good tactically and effort-wise.

Didn't want to race, but as I saw glimpses of Wyatt ahead it seemed like I might be able to stay in visual contact.

Once I got much closer, knowing I had a control in the bank, I decided to work as hard as possible to see if I could hold the position.
