Warm-up before Governor Dick Red. Wasn't sure where the start was, but found it originally. Had to ask someone who was on her course which way to go and she was accommodating. I felt bad about it.

DVOA Governor Dick Red. Did OK. Room for improvement, but it wasn't a disaster physically or mentally (though not superlative, either.)

I could have been maybe 2 or 3 minutes better if I wasn't so technically rusty. Any more difference between Wyatt and me (he dusted me by 4) is that I am (not surprisingly) not fast enough.

It was a nice course but not at all what I expected (or was hoping for.) It was basically like FC used to be--open and fast. I thought this map was green and rocky. Apparently, half is, but we didn't use it.

A much more reasonable day. Got in the remainder of the controls. There were a few wrinkles--such as some controls (40, 41) being there twice, but got through it.

Only managed to get around on my severely blistered feet due to having some nice fluffy wool socks along.

I should have entered this earlier, so now just log triage.

CSU 2010 Training Camp #1.

Because of our control situation, and because I'm not really training for anything, I volunteered to pickup controls. And then set out some night-O controls and attempt to set out some of my controls for the next day.

Didn't quite get the last thing done, but everything else worked. The control pickup part was slow because I kept catching up to people.

I finished the day with a mean headache and thrashed feet. Note to self--do not wear wet cotton socks for 8+ hours while cavorting in terrain.
