Some nice new powdery snow covered up the tracks from yesterday but was still plenty runnable.
1 - Behind Isak for the most part. Seems like we choose the the best route despite having to run through a frozen creek 2 - Passed Isak while picking my way through the thorns 3 - Poor exit but fixed it quickly only would have lost a few seconds. However, my route was not as fast as taking the trail and Isak ended up in front again. 4 - Same leg as yesterday 5 - Was kinda thinking I was on a worse route but stayed on it and ended up passing Isak. 6 - Thought the wall would be more visible but found it eventually 7 - Thicc 8 - The track was still somewhat visible from yesterday 9 - Really good bearing despite the green 10 - road 11 - Solid execution. Left the trail exactly where I wanted to but might have gotten sucked to far into the green at the end 12 - kinda hesitant toward the end 13 - A bit slow at the start bc map flip 14 - A little off but better fast than accurate here 15 - Finally a new control 16 - good 17 - short and easy and the same leg as yesterday 18 - and then what I ended up running after this control yesterday plus the reverse of the leg in the first part of the course 19 - More trail might have been faster but I had a solid lead 20-22 - chilling 23 - Pretty good for nearing the end of the course 24-26 - My legs were definitely drained with all the slow stumbling I did across the rocks.
Overall: Probaly coulda run faster but I was really in the lead since 5 and didn't see Isak, Emma, or Eric after 10. Pretty clean race tho.

16 - slow along the side hill, but I don't think there was a faster way 17 - Followed some tracks until the disappeared in the thick mf thorns. Gotta love seeing your control but you can't move faster than a slow walk due to the thorns. 18 - Thick 19 - Basically a trail to it at this point 20 - Wrong boulder yet again 21-F - run
Overall: I Thought I was kinda slow and made many small hooks and errors but I guess the veg slowed everyone down. Tomorrow should be interesting but fun. Just gotta try and figure out which boulders are mapped.

1-5 - Smooth, I few minutes late to my start but got my head in the game quickly. 6 - Subpar route but the execution was fine 7 - Straight was not the move. Forest looked pretty nice going in but the medium green at the end was a lot of deadfall and with the snow it was super slow. I'll have to see when splits are posted but most likely lost a solid 20s. 8 - Small hesitation at the edge of the circle 9 - unremarkable 10 - Thought I was on the trail that dropped back down to the lower one but apparently was not and had gone down too soon. Also should have gone left in the second half. 11 - Took the ideal route apparently 12 - I miss SIAC 13 - Looked like a simple leg but I did not see the trail I was supposed to take and ended up 60m down the river. Somehow lost 40s here. 14-F - Clean and easy, except for the snowy hill.
Overall: Felt like I was running kinda slow. My form was defietly really off as I kept finding myself leaning back and making my lower back tight and sore. Could not seem to engage my core for my life. Everyone else had quite clean races so my few mistakes added up and took me outta the running.
