Was feeling inspired by the GB women’s relay win so went out for a hard terrain run. Stans map was interesting and the terrain was extremely varied so felt like I was running through lots of different countries. First 3 controls were very brambley and found Stan fully stuck in a bush but from then on wasn’t quite as think so could vitally run most of it. Brashings, heather, marsh, pine followed. Was good fun and really good route so going to use it as a bench mark and try and improve technique/speed through terrain.

Meant to do 8 x 400m with 30 sec recovery but dropped out and did 4 cuz feeling really bad and got a wee sad.
Looking back I was physically rather drained as not used to the short hard sprints I did the day before plus also not used to hills which I did on Monday so probably should’ve had a rest day here.
