Running (Progression Run) 1:00:00 [3]

Bit of a weird one? started great, and was doing the z3 bit at 9.1 (faster than nomal), while still comfortable mid-z3. However, when tried to take it up for the z4 part couldn?t get the legs to go faster than 9.3, apart from a large push over the last five mins? HR was barely in z4 for this? looks like I may have lost a bit of leg speed in the IM build up? will have to add some shorter faster sessions in somewhere

Good session with Coach Murray.

Excellent session, good power levels at low HRs to start, and intervals back to pre-placid levels

Running (Brick run) 20:00 [2]

Pretty steady, HR v low. Footpod not being picked up, so not sure on speed.

Swimming (Technique swim) 45:00 [3]

In the Ryerson pool today... a bit pricey, but it was pretty much one lane each as opposed to the 6-7 a lane at Leaside yesterday.

A brilliant swim, really effortless flying though the water...still lots of things to correct, but really something to build on.

Running (Long Run) 1:30:00 [2] 17.0 km (5:18 / km)

Very nice run... smooth rather than bouncy.

Cycling (Trainer ride) 1:55:00 [3]

Weather was crappy, and I was a little pressed for time today, so did this on the trainer... plan was to do 4x3x5mins each of 3min @230w, 1 @ 250W and 1 at 230W....pretty tough in fact...Calibration was off for the first two... maybe reading 20W under at a guess, so I was pretty shredded at halfway... Wasn't too bad once i recal'ed the Ergomo, but I still ended up bringing down the z2/3s down a little.


Running (Progressiony run) 55:00 [3]

I did this pretty much straight after the bike, so my legs felt pretty trashed when I started....was running a bit short of time so wasn't really sure what run I'd do.... Original plan was to do a combined long and progression run.

Ended up doing 35mins at a good z2, then 10 minutes fast probably equally split z3/z4, then 10mins z2 to finish... Good session, even if not quite as planned...
