Urgh feeling slow. Also a bit foolish- arrived at six, then realized I was supposed to be at five.

Goal for the day was to execute cleanly, but walk (mostly worried about the ankle). Successful on both counts; no execution errors. Since I was walking, I'd done most of my planning on the way to number 2, so route choices were pretty good, though some could have been better.

Note

Been out of training for quite a while– between crazy-busy startup life and winter in Boston, it hasn't been a priority. I'm considering this weekend as a baseline: remembering what it feels like to run a red course and getting back into it. Check back in a year and we'll see how far I've come!

Very slow, very messy. Had a hard time focusing, but had a good time getting back out into the woods.
Lots of sidehill; near the end I wanted to run more but felt limited by my ankles, which felt like they might give out if I ran down hills too quickly.
