Green 1 RouteGadgetPretty bad. 3, for instance, took me 21 minutes (15 minute mistake). I ended up about 450m above where I needed to be in a marsh with very similar contours to where I thought I was. Everything was just similar enough that I wandered around in circles, sure that I was missing something. Eventually, I bailed to a stream but hit a trail first. That really confused me because there was not supposed to be a trail, but I eventually figured out what I'd done and continued down to it. The take-away is that I should actually learn how to judge distances.
8 and 9 were also bad. 8, I recognized where I was and where it should be, but I couldn't see it, so I headed downstream, realized I probably shouldn't be, turned around, and saw it.
