Strength/Flexibility 10:00 [1]

Running 14:00 [2]

Note

Being Remembrance Day, I can't help but feel that if I were born in another generation, as an 18 year old male I still would have been training to prepare to represent my country abroad. However, rather than orienteering where there is the chance you can do really badly or get injured, I would be in the army where there is the chance you could be killed. Makes me appreciate what I have.

Running 14:30 [3]

running home from the bar. ain't waiting for no bus/taxi. Borat is so unbefrickinlievably funny.

Running (long tempo) 1:02:43 [3] 13.5 km (4:39 / km) +100m 4:29 / km

nice run in river valley as day faded to night. I used to think that people that run outside in Edmonton winters were nutters (and I was probably right). However, after donning the headband and sweater a few times the last couple of weeks to crash through the snow and ice I have had a lot of fun. Now I wonder why I have always ducked to the nearest track/ gym whenever the snow has come to rest on the ground (althought the limited number of daylight hours may have had something to do with that)

Running tempo 46:15 [2] 10.0 km (4:38 / km) +20m 4:35 / km

AM run. A thin layer of freezing rain on top of a fresh layer of snow makes for a satisfying crunch.
