Temporarily came off my fall training break to run WIOL / Winter Series meet #2 at Marymoor Park. I didn't warm-up beyond jogging in place for a minute or two. The air was cold, and the air and the tail end of my cold made my bronchi hurt a fair amount by about 7-10 minutes into the course. The pain seemed to subside some after that. My legs felt fairly good, but not great, and I cruised the course with perhaps 30-45 seconds lost time at around threshold intensity.

The weather was cold and somewhat foggy/overcast but dry, and the turnout was huge--about 250-275 people, probably. There were 50 men on course five, including several of my adventure racing teammates and other friends. At the club meeting afterward, Jennifer reported that there had been over 150 WIOL (school league) starts, a new record.
