Cycling (MTB) 1:13:05 [3] *** 7.2 mi (5.9 mph) +568ft
ahr:118 max:157 shoes: Gary Fisher Rig

Quick ride at St. Joe after Kate and I decided not to ride Middlefork. It's amazing what a good breakfast will do to feeling lazy and lethargic. Plenty of trees down here too that needed to be taken care of.

North Trace with Kate and Chuck on the SS. Trees and branches down all over the place, presumably because of the ice storm we got last weekend. The frequent stops definitely made me forget I didn't have gears, but I actually didn't miss them a whole lot. Maybe just on the climb back to the campground.

Time spent clearing trees on our ride.

Cycling (Gravel) 1:14:21 [3] ** 13.4 mi (10.8 mph)
ahr:104 max:156 shoes: Trek Superfly

Soggy & foggy gravel ride at Busch with Chuck, Alane, Jessie, Lo, and Alice. I might have to actually bring my CX bike soon, some of these peeps are getting fast. But I'm still glad I had my MTB tonight, there were a couple soft areas I appreciated the traction.

Climbing 2:00:00 [2] ***

Climbing with the Trailhead crew at Upper Limits Chesterfield. Only did 3 routes on the rope climbing, most of the night was spent bouldering. I am feeling like I'm getting better, but I have a LONG way to go on the bouldering routes.

Walking 1:06:48 [1] * 4.6 mi (14:31 / mi) +156ft 14:04 / mi
shoes: New Balance 860v6

Felt like crap sitting in bed after my P&Z meeting, so I decided to get some fresh air. Went for a walk. And walked. And walked until I started to feel it in my legs. Definitely felt better in my head while I was outside.

It wasn't raining when I woke up, but the forecast was saying rain/thunder all day. So what did I do? I hopped on my bike and rode to work. Sure, it rained while I was at work, then again when I got home, but my commutes were mostly dry (just a few sprinkles in the last couple miles before I got to the bike shop), and with the holiday, traffic wasn't bad. Good ride.
