Orienteering race 52:47 [5] 8.1 km (6:31 / km) +185m 5:51 / km

I was on top of my game for the Mid Atlantic Championships. Ran an extremely clean course and pushed myself hard physically. Definitely the fastest and most confident I've ever orienteered.

Orienteering race 52:07 [4] 6.2 km (8:24 / km) +200m 7:14 / km

Ran at NJROTC Area 5 Championships and placed first. I was very happy with how I felt physically throughout the course, but I made three technical mistakes. One ended me up in a dangerously deep marsh, and it took a while to relocate and finish.

Took two NJROTC teammates to Ball's Bluff to train for Area 5.

Easy jog around a nature center.

Tuesday Nov 28, 2017 #

Running 40:00 [4] 2.5 mi (16:00 / mi)

One mile warm up. 10 minute temp run at 6:30 mile pace. 800m in 2:30. 300m in 47s. 200m in 28s. 100m in 13s. Then hurdle mobility and agility drills.

Tough upper body and core workout with the PT team.

Morning PT with NJROTC. Lots of shoulder and bi lifts then several rounds of sit-ups and push-ups until I could do no more.
4 PM

Running 45:00 [2] 5.0 mi (9:00 / mi)

Real easy jog for track.
5 PM

PT 20:00 [2]

A little lifting after running. Some squats, benchpress, and shoulder presses.
