Yoga @ the rec center.

We had a sub for the regular instructor. It was the guy who uses phrases like "exhale through the buttocks". Tonight it was visualizing our tailbone as the nozzle of a fountain pointing up at the sky. OK.

A fun 10K race in Evergreen with a bunch of others from my running group.

Splits were: 9:12, 8:49, 8:36, 8:40, 8:23, 8:11, (2:24), for an overall average of 8:37 per mile.

Probably a 10K PR for me, but, full disclosure, here's the course profile. :-P

I can't believe I eked this out. I turned around after a tenth of a mile due to glute / hip twinges, but I forced myself to keep going and that stuff loosened up.

From my house, up to Davidson Mesa (one loop), then back home. Ran 5.1, walked the rest.

Easy run @ Davidson Mesa before tomorrow's 10K race -- ran 3, walked the rest. I probably should have just walked or rested today, but I missed both of my running group workouts this week, due to having other plans on Tuesday & Thursday, and I was starting to feel lazy!
