Administration (Administration) 2:00:00 [0]

- Solicited feedback about improvements to start cards; responded to lengthy emails.
- Made changes to start cards based on feedback.
- Created PDF & uploaded to Kinko's for printing; drove to / from Kinko's for pick-up. (I will always call it Kinko's, not FedExOffice, BTW. And Mile High Stadium is still Mile High Stadium, not Sports Authority Field at Mile High.)

Administration (Buena Vista Meet) 6:00:00 [0]

RMOC Two-Day Meet in Buena Vista:

- Created two separate OE2003 import files w/ pre-assigned rental sticks (night-O and regular meet).
- Created formatted list with entry fees, for registration volunteers.
- Created two separate source files for start-card labels; merged, printed & affixed labels.
- Emailed OE2003 files and other details to Meet Director & Course Setter.
- Drove to Boulder to meet someone to hand off start cards & other registration materials; that person left before I arrived; scrambled to find someone else to deliver the cards, etc.; drove over to that person's house.

Afterwards (on 6/2 & 6/3):

- Lots of follow-up emails to extract details from Meet Director (volunteer list, new memberships, etc.).
- Created and posted files for overall results, RMOC website splits, AP splits, and RouteGadget splits.
- Membership database updates and confirmation emails.

Cycling (Peaceful Valley) 1:52:00 [3] 13.94 mi (8:02 / mi) +1079ft 7:29 / mi
slept:9.0 shoes: Safire

Troy and I decided to ride the course that's marked out for next weekend's MTB race at Peaceful Valley. PV isn't normally open to the general public, but racers are allowed to pre-ride the course this week -- so we pretended to be racers. ;-)

It was fun but TOUGH -- lots of climbing. It was 95% non-technical, but the one technical stretch was a scary, rocky, sandy downhill (I walked most of it).

We were out for 2:54 but stopped lots of times to re-group; actual moving time was 1:52.

Orienteering race (Red) 1:49:30 [3] 6.08 mi (18:01 / mi)
slept:6.0 shoes: Brooks Adrenaline (2013)

A pretty clean run (for me), but I was moving slowly as usual. I finished ahead of a few people I don't usually beat. Looking at my tracks, I swung wide of the straight-line route on a few occasions, but I didn't have any disastrous errors.
