At HeronBridge.
I didn't have a great run. I felt rushed the whole way, couldn't concentrate and didn't read ahead enough. I lost time going to 4. I should have slowed down as it was the first control in the buildings. I messed up 8 because I followed the tracks into the wrong reentrant. The rest wasn't too bad but I felt slow. I was 5th, two and a bit minutes behind Jess.

From Doppio Zero, to Emmarentia, Alberts Farm and back. With Alex, Dylan, Katryn and Kate. Enjoyed it and managed not to lag behind.

2 laps warm up, a bit of running around and a flat out 200m at the end. Did it in 33:3.

Orienteering 10:00 [3]

Worthwhile session. We did lots of grid courses and did some map memory. Took it in turns to choose routes on a cool map and did a quick bearing exercise.

Note

Had cricket from 14:00 to 16:00. Lots of fun. We played mini matches and my team won so Donovan bought us cokes.

Ran to Possles park for hill runs. Alex came with me. Took 14:03 to get there and only 15:31 back!

Did 5 hills with usual 1:30 rest. I got some faster times today and felt good. It helps having someone to chase up the hill. My times were 36, 38, 38, 34, 33.

Good session today. We jogged for 20mins, did elimination sprints which killed me and did 3 sets of 20 sit ups.
