Ride out to Nudgee Beach with Matt, Kez and his dad. Slow on the way out getting all the traffic lights on Sandgate rd. Did a few two-up sprints with Matt on the crit track. Then the boys had a pile up after a water hen ran out in front of Matt. Tony came off the worse with a fair bit of bark off the knee and elbows. He was still able to pace the TTT on the way back along coro drive though, not bad for a 63 yr old.

Ran the short course at the Cyclones park series at Kelvin Grove.
Racing flats had cobwebs in them when i picked them up today, its been that long since i've run in them. Felt a lot better running today, didnt feel so heavy in the legs. Could probably have managed the long but good starting with a short run.

Tuesday Feb 5, 2013 #

Morning coot-tha lap with Kez and Simon. 13mins for the climb so minute quicker than Saturday. Legs were still feeling the effects of the weekend ride. Simon surprisingly quicker up the climb (~12mins). He also rolled me Gilbert style in the uphill sprint point at the green bridge. Few days off now.
