Orienteering race (OY9 Braemer Forest) 1:02:45 [5] *** 12.4 km (5:04 / km) +225m 4:38 / km

Last OY for this year at a new map at Dalby which is too far away. Hit the first control alright then kinda went downhill after that with all my bearings being off by heaps which was weird. Smashed myself on some rocks coming out of 9 and got a nice cut on my arm. After ten found my rhythm and started hitting the controls cleanly but that section of the map was shit cause it was full of fallen timber. Suprisingly only 2mins off kierans time but sounds like he had similar problems to me. The map didnt get a field check so probably guessing mapping is slightly skewed.

Hill run at Denmark Hill. Felt great, haven't felt that comfortable running in ages. Smashed my pb up all the hills and for the entire course.

Sprint Sessions at uni with kieran. Decided to do fartleking today, did 3X (3min hard,3min easy, 2min hard,2 min easy, 1min hard, 3 min easy) Havent added easy run distance in above total, only for the hard running. Not running like i want too, was slow, about 3.30 for 1km. Was fast enough over the 2min and 1min sprints. Thanks for bailing again laurina.

Ran from guyatt park to uni with kieran.

Went to uni to with kieran to get his new mountain bike and ended up riding it about 5mins after it left the store to guyatt park cause we needed the car. Pretty good ride, bit risky through uni traffic though.

Clive's Training at Gap Ck. Did 2X 3km loop(12controls) in pairs, whilst swapping the map between legs then did it in reverse. Went with laurina and I made sure she was smashed by the end ;). First loop did 35mins, second loop 36km.
