Mt Nebo ride with the Cat this morning. HR monitor wasnt working so left it at home, probably dont need it on the bike anymore. Didnt push the climb to much, just tried to keep a comfortable pace. Matt is still a bit stronger on the hills at the moment. Short break up the top to have a muesli bar then hit the descent. The new bike definitely handles better on the corners. Road home via waterworks rd, legs blew up at Red Hill so reasonably slow pace home.

Riverloop without the West end section with Simon and Will. Simon was on his new steed so had a few fast sections in the beginning while he tested it out. Pretty cruisey last half though. HR monitor not working today.

Anzac park hills course, Full loop this time, didnt cut off the last bit round the ring rd. Feeling bit dead after the weekend so took it easy, started to feel better towards the end. Longest run so far, almost up to 40mins

Brookfield Loop with the PSGC boys. Good bunch this morning with 7 riders. Bit tired from yesterday but got through it fine. Lots of stops today, 1. Kez having a chunder at Gold Ck, 2. Simons rear brake falling off right before a steep descent, Quote:"Tell me when something falls off my bike", 3. Stopping again to tighten his front brakes after not listening to my advice to check them. 4. my chain slipped off on a steep climb, 5. Waiting for the gruppetto to catch up after Chapel Hill.

QLD Sprint Champs at UQ. Bout 3.5mins off the pace which i sort of expected, plus it was really hot running which didnt help. Was moving alright at the start but this was a classic QLD sprint course (i.e. about 1km-1.5km too long) so hit the wall bout halfway. Heart rate high but not too bothered about it at the moment. Technical side was only a bit scrappy in a few places as I know the area pretty well.

Morning Brookfield loop with the PSGC boys. Cruisey pace for most of it apart from faster sections on the uphills with Matt. Legs were getting tired towards the end but still enough in them to get up the hills fine. Solid feed at saint Lucy's after including getting a free coffee after they stuffed my order twice.

Quick run round the Anzac park hills course, minus the extra loop. Ran a kilometer further than last week in round the same time so thats a bonus. Feeling alright on the hills so hopefully be able to pull something together for sprint champs in a weeks time.

Morning coot-tha lap plus half riverloop with Simon, Kez and Matt. 11.45 for the climb so 75secs faster than last time. Probably helped by being out of the saddle and bridging an 80m gap to Simon in the last 300m before blowing up on the final pinch. Rolled round the city half of the riverloop to finish off

Riverloop with chelmer extension with the boys. Cruisey pace for the first part then dropped Will when we jumped on the back of a bunch. Will bailed after 25km and Matty and I picked up the pace on the hills. Feeling stronger on the bike, few good KOM battles with Matt this morning.

Easy jog round Anzac park on the hills loop. Was sick of running round uni so opted for trails today, longest run so far. Ran into the Reads and Macca after I finished, they were about to start training.

Short spin on the rollers to get the legs going again. Testing out some brand new shoes and still playing with cleat position as right ITB is playing up a bit with them. Pulled up surprisingly well physically after last weekend, heart has just been feeling a bit bleh all week, probably from the hammering it got last weekend.
