Cruisey extended riverloop with the lads. Sprint and KOM points up for grabs, cleaned up first two sprints and KOM up the duttonberg. Beaten by the Cat on the last KOM and sprint.

Solo 'Hour of Power' on the riverloop after work. Didn't have anyone to slow down/ wait for this time so could thrash myself. Duttonberg hurt again plus leg strength imbalance was noticeable and annoying.

Morning Coot-tha rep with Kibbles. Did a 10.20 which isn't too bad but I was ready to puke by the end. Was heading for a comfortable sub 10 but had blown up pretty badly in the last 500m. Kibbles knocked out a 15.04, not bad for first real attempt at a climb.

Jog in the rain down to the soccer fields. Did some running drills to try and correct this overstride I have and to get left hip flexor working.

Morning riverloop with Kibbles who was out on his new steed. Pretty cruisey pace, flatted about 5km from home. Did some practice on the rollers after.

First strength session at Physio. Heaps of core and glute work using various resistance machines. Really highlighted how weak my left side is.

Note

Had running assessment today at the physio. Apparently the video would make perfect lecture material. Running form on right side is really good, left side however is doing the wrong thing. Left hip flexor is not switching on so using my pelvis (i.e. twisting) to pull that leg forward. Obviously not helping my pelvis stay straight. Got to retrain some muscles now.

Hip well out of alignment again, probably from cycling. Getting a running assessment done on Thursday as it is needed.
